Epoxy Flooring

Epoxy Flooring Across Saudi Arabia

Epoxy flooring is one of the most dependable surfaces a facility can invest in. It withstands forklift traffic, chemical spills, constant footfall and the daily wear that damages ordinary concrete within months. Metal Fuze installs epoxy floor systems for facilities across Riyadh and the wider Saudi market, from food production lines and hospital corridors to multi-level car parks, showrooms and large warehouses.

FUNDAMENTALS

What Is Epoxy Flooring?

Epoxy flooring is a multi-layer surface system applied over a properly prepared concrete substrate. An epoxy resin is combined with a hardening agent, and once cured, the two form a rigid, seamless floor that bonds chemically to the concrete. The result is dense, non-porous and far more resistant to impact, abrasion and chemicals than untreated concrete. It is not paint. A true epoxy floor becomes part of the slab rather than a film that sits on top of it, which is why preparation and installation quality matter so much.

TYPES OF EPOXY FLOORING WE INSTALL

No single product suits every project

The strength of an epoxy floor comes from matching the right system to the right environment, which is why we offer a complete range.

Self-Leveling Epoxy Flooring

A smooth, seamless finish for warehouses, showrooms and commercial interiors. It hides minor imperfections in the concrete and produces a flat, professional surface.

Industrial Epoxy Flooring

Heavy-duty systems for factories, workshops and manufacturing floors exposed to constant impact, abrasion and chemical spills.

Anti-Static Epoxy Flooring (ESD)

Engineered for electronics manufacturing, server rooms and laboratories where static discharge can damage equipment or compromise safety.

Anti-Slip Epoxy Coatings

Textured systems for wet zones, ramps, parking areas and food processing facilities where grip underfoot is a safety requirement.

Where Epoxy Flooring Works Best in Saudi Arabia

Once the right system is selected, epoxy performs across almost any demanding environment. Metal Fuze installs epoxy flooring in

Industrial Facilities

factories, manufacturing units, processing plants and heavy-duty workshops

Warehouses and Logistics Hubs

Including high-traffic loading bays and distribution centres in riyadh's growing logistics corridors

Parking Structures

Surface and multi-level car parks, ramps and transition zones

Hospitals, and Healthcare Facilities

Operating theatres, labs, icus, corridors and pharmacies that need hygienic, easy-to-clean surfaces

Commercial Spaces

Showrooms, retail outlets, restaurants, offices, gyms and automotive workshops

Educational and Government Buildings

High-use areas that need durable, presentable, low-maintenance floors

Pharmaceutical and Food Production Plants

Where contamination control and chemical resistance are non-negotiable

Residential and Hospitality
Interiors

Villas, hotels and high-end spaces where owners want a seamless, modern finish

WHY EPOXY MAKES SENSE IN SAUDI ARABIA

Built for heat, dust and heavy industry

High temperatures, fine dust and heavy industrial activity push floors harder than in many other markets, and the pace of construction under Vision 2030 means owners need surfaces that perform from day one.

Heat-resistant formulations handle the temperature stress common in Saudi industrial settings

Seamless, dust-free surfaces make cleaning simpler where fine sand is constant

Chemical resistance suits petrochemical, automotive and manufacturing sectors

Hygienic, joint-free finishes support healthcare and food sectors across Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam

A long service life means lower lifecycle costs across large facility portfolios

Our Installation
Process

05 SEQUENCED STAGES

01

SITE SURVEY AND ASSESSMENT

We inspect the existing concrete, measure moisture levels, identify cracks and understand how the space will be used. The system is selected based on actual conditions, not assumptions.

02

SURFACE PREPARATION

Using diamond grinding and shot blasting machines, we remove laitance, contaminants and old coatings to expose a clean, sound surface the epoxy can bond to mechanically.

03

CRACK REPAIR AND LEVELLING

Cracks, joints and uneven areas are repaired with the appropriate fillers and patching compounds before any coating goes down.

04

PRIMER APPLICATION

A specialised primer seals the concrete, controls moisture and creates a strong bond between the substrate and the layers above.

05

BODY COATS AND BUILD-UP

One or more body coats build thickness and strength. For decorative systems, flakes, metallic pigments or coloured quartz are added at this stage.

06

TOPCOAT AND SEALING

A clear or pigmented topcoat locks in the system, improves chemical and UV resistance and delivers the final finish in matte, satin or high gloss.

07

CURING AND HANDOVER

The floor cures under controlled conditions before being released for foot or vehicle traffic, with full documentation provided at handover.

Why Work with Metal Fuze?

Choosing the right contractor matters as much as choosing the right product. A premium system applied poorly will fail, while a well-specified system applied correctly can perform for a decade or more. Metal Fuze brings:

A specialised flooring division with hands-on experience across industrial, commercial, healthcare and parking projects

Epoxy Flooring FAQs

How long does epoxy flooring last?

A properly installed epoxy floor can last for many years, depending on the system, traffic and maintenance. Correct surface preparation is the biggest factor in its lifespan.

Cost depends on the area, the system, the finish and the condition of the concrete. After a site assessment we provide a clear, itemised proposal.

Is epoxy flooring suitable for hospitals and food facilities?

Yes. Epoxy floors are seamless and easy to clean, which is why they are widely used in hospitals and food facilities. We specify systems suited to your hygiene and chemical-resistance needs.

Installation time depends on the area, the system and the curing requirements. We share a programme with the proposal so you know the schedule in advance.
